Just 2 weeks after the most serious Bollywood crime of releasing ‘Prince’, producer Kumar S Taurani has called for more trouble. Producer Taurani and actor Vivek Oberoi have been sued by Disney’s Prince Club over the movie’s title. Alladin along with other princes have filed a legal suit in Disney’s court of appeals against them for doing a film titled ‘Prince’. The complaint says that Vivek Oberoi has given a bad name to the phrase ‘Prince’ which has affected The Disney’s Prince Club franchisees.
In a press conference, Alladin, the president of the Prince Club said, “They don’t understand how hard it is to become a prince. First, you need to find a magical Genie, then fight a dozens of beasts, screw up the king’s daughter, take over his property and then you get to be called a prince.” A frustrated Alladin continued, “And all they do is a movie titled Prince and screw up our global network.”
Also present at the press conference was Prof. Khamba Khadhi, faculty of English at Career Launcher, who supported Alladin saying, “The movie has given a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘Live like a Prince’. Students who were exposed to that movie will now know who wrote our course materials. Thankfully none of the CAT aspirants who buy our 10 thousand page course material ever read them else we might sued as well.”
We have come to know through our well placed reporters that the movie, Prince, was suppose to be April fool’s prank on the film distributors but the Bollywood Film Distributors Association had taken it a little too seriously and poked Alladin for the lawsuit as a revenge. They were earlier approaching the underworld but later realised that only a cartoon would give a damn about anything related to Vivek Oberoi.
Anirudh Sekhawat, a Mayo College alumni, who was Vivek’s junior back in school said, “I went with my girlfriend to the movie and it was so god damn boring that she found my kisses and lip-locks as heeling. The atmosphere around us was even hotter than some of the hot scenes of Aruna Shields. I enjoyed the complete 165 mins of the movie a lot and wished it was longer.” He added, “During my school days i was always told that seniors will be of great help in the real world. Now i have really experienced it. I am very thankful to Vivek Sir for his natural acting. Hope he does more movies like this. I will surely get a gold class sofa seat for his next movie. K thx bi.”
After much effort one of our reporters agreed to interview Vivek Oberoi but only on being offered double the salary. In the interview Oberoi said, “I have always been critically acclaimed for my natural acting. The movie’s performance on the box office also comes to me naturally. Unlike other actors i don’t do films for hits and flops. When Tauraniji approached me i thought ‘Why not?’. Earlier i used to have aish all day but now I don’t really do anything apart from drooling at her posters and so i said yes. Beside, the movie casts Aruna Shields, who’s been called India’s new Bond girl, so that makes me the Bond.” To this our doubled paid reporter cursed himself for his decision.
On the law suit controversy Vivek commented, “I really have no idea about it as i have been busy with my dogs all through the night.” He explained, “They are suffering from insomnia after watching the movie, so i have to give them the extra attention. We play all night, the dog style.” He continued, “If the lawsuit is true then i should get some good clothes for myself and call for a press conference. This will be a great publicity stunt. Even better than my stunts in the movie. Wait, let me call Tauraniji from my new iPhone 3GS.” He flashed the gadget at us and manage to dial a number, apparently S Taurani’s. After some animated conversation he flew away in his Princely style just saying, “I am off for shopping. Do come for my conference at 8 tonite.”
Vivek did inform our reporter that his next movie is a take on Superman and he is already working on it. Expect the next law suit from Warner Brothers.
